Minnesota High School Baseball - Benson loses to Long Prairie-Grey Eagle

April 21, 2026: Long Prairie, MN 56347

Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder (Long Prairie, MN) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Benson (Benson, MN), 14-2 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Long Prairie-Grey Eagle advances its record to 5-0 on the season. The Thunder travel to St. John's Prep (Collegeville, MN) to battle the Johnnies in a Prairie match on Friday, April 24. The Johnnies come into the match with a record of 1-5. St. John's Prep lost 16-5 in their recent league match against Upsala/Swanville (Upsala, MN)

The now have a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Minnewaska Area for a non-league match on Thursday, April 23. Benson will battle a Lakers squad coming off a 14-3 league win over Melrose (Melrose, MN). The Lakers record now stands at 5-1.
