Illinois High School Baseball - Red Bud defeats Carlyle

April 21, 2026: Red Bud, IL 62278

The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Red Bud Musketeers (Red Bud, IL) and the visiting Carlyle Indians (Carlyle, IL), saw Red Bud's baseball team gain a win over Carlyle by a tally of 7-0.

The Musketeers (10-3) will now prepare for their battle against Alton (Alton, IL). The Redbirds enter the non-league battle with a 9-10 record. In their last battle, Alton was overwhelmed by Granite City (Granite City, IL), 7-5, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Indians face the Red Bud Musketeers (Red Bud, IL) in a Cahokia - Illinois battle, on Thursday, April 23. Carlyle will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Musketeers enter the battle with a 10-4 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Alton (Alton, IL).
