The Belton-Honea Path Bears (Honea Path, SC) softball nipped the host Pendleton Bulldogs (Pendleton, SC), 2-1 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Bears now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Walhalla for a AAA Region 1 outing on Thursday, April 23. Belton-Honea Path will encounter a Razorbacks team coming off a 15-0 league loss to West-Oak (Westminster, SC). The Razorbacks record now stands at 5-11.

With the loss, Pendleton moves to 8-12 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Crescent (Iva, SC) to encounter the Tigers in a AAA Region 1 outing on Thursday, April 23. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 19-4. Crescent won 14-1 in their recent non-league outing against Blue Ridge (Greer, SC)
