The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Clay Panthers (Portsmouth, OH) and the visiting Northwest Mohawks (McDermott, OH), observed Clay's softball team get by Northwest by a final score of 6-3.

The Panthers (12-6) will now prepare for their bout against Glenwood (New Boston, OH). The Tigers go into the Southern Ohio I bout with a 7-9 record. In their last bout, Glenwood tipped Oak Hill (Oak Hill, OH), 10-3, in a non-league bout.
