In Tuesday's non-league test, the Hancock County Hornets (Lewisport, KY) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Ohio County Eagles (Hartford, KY), by a tally of 10-0.
Next, the Hornets clash with the Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers (Harned, KY) in a District 11 test, on Wednesday, April 22. Hancock County will attempt to advance on its 12-6 season record. The Fighting Tigers go into the test with a 3-10 record after their 9-1 league loss to Meade County (Brandenburg, KY).
The Eagles (8-10) will now prepare for their test against Owensboro Catholic (Owensboro, KY). The Aces go into the non-league test with a 8-9 record. In their last test, Owensboro Catholic was routed by Daviess County (Owensboro, KY), 12-2, in a league test.
