Ohio High School Softball - Plymouth succumbs to Mapleton

In Tuesday's league test, the Mapleton Mounties (Ashland, OH) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Plymouth Big Red (Plymouth, OH), by a tally of 11-0.

Next, the Mounties meet the Crestview Cougars (Ashland, OH) in a Firelands test, on Thursday, April 23. Mapleton will attempt to advance on its 14-0 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 6-5 record after their 15-5 league win over New London (New London, OH).

The Big Red (1-12) will now prepare for their test against St. Paul (Norwalk, OH). The Flyers go into the Firelands test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, St. Paul prevailed over South Central (Greenwich, OH), 11-5, in a league test.
