Bethlehem Center Bulldogs (Fredericktown, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Monessen Greyhounds (Monessen, PA), 10-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host California for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 26.

With the loss, Monessen falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Avella (Avella, PA) to face the Eagles in a WPIAL 1A 2 challenge on Friday, April 23. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. Avella lost 13-0 in their recent league challenge against Mapletown (Greensboro, PA)
