Texas High School Baseball - Austin loses to Irvin

In Friday's league game, the visiting Irvin Rockets baseball team scored a nice 22-8 victory over the Austin Panthers.
The Rockets (12-6) will now prepare for their game against Chapin (El Paso, TX). The Huskies go into the 5A Region I District 1 game with a 12-12 record.
The Panthers (1-23) will now prepare for their game against Jefferson (El Paso, TX). The Silver Foxes go into the 5A Region I District 1 game with a 7-10 record. In their last game, Jefferson was overwhelmed by El Paso (El Paso, TX), 14-7, in a league game.
