Arizona High School Baseball - Cortez loses to Coronado

The Coronado Dons crushed the visiting Cortez Colts baseball team by a count of 18-6 in Friday's league bout.

The Dons now possess a 1-15 record. They take the field next when they host Combs for a 4A Black Canyon bout on Saturday, April 23. Coronado will face a Coyotes team coming off a 11-6 league win over Apache Junction (Apache Junction, AZ). The Coyotes record now stands at 10-13.

Next, the Colts face the Coronado Dons (Scottsdale, AZ) in a 4A Black Canyon bout, on Monday, April 25. Cortez will attempt to move on its 0-16 season record. The Dons go into the match with a 1-16 record after their 25-2 league loss to Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ).
