The Eastern Alamance Eagles baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Grimsley Whirlies to 4 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.

The Eagles (10-9) will now prepare for their match against Orange (Hillsborough, NC). The Panthers go into the Central 3A match with a 14-7 record. In their last match, Orange was overwhelmed by Southern Lee (Sanford, NC), 6-5, in a non-league match.

The Whirlies (8-13) will now prepare for their match against Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Nighthawks go into the Metro 4A match with a 10-8 record. In their last match, Northern Guilford was overwhelmed by Ledford (Thomasville, NC), 4-2, in a non-league match.
