The Hopewell Vikings crushed the host Lincoln Wolverine baseball team by a count of 13-5 in Friday's league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blackhawk for a non-league contest on Saturday, April 23. Hopewell will play a Cougars squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Montour (McKees Rocks, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-4.

The Wolverine now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Beaver Falls for a WPIAL 3A 1 contest on Monday, April 25. Lincoln will play a Tigers squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Mohawk Area (Bessemer, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-6.
