The Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) baseball nipped the visiting Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA), 7-6 in Friday's league contest.
Coming up next, the Buffaloes play the Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, April 27. Floyd County will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record.
The Highlanders now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northside for a non-league contest on Monday, April 25. Glenvar will play a Vikings squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 10-2.
