The Jefferson Mustangs got by the visiting John F. Kennedy Rockets baseball team by a count of 3-2 in Friday's league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 9-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Edison for a 5A Region IV District 27 bout on Tuesday, April 26. Jefferson will face a Golden Bears team coming off a 11-1 league win over Highlands (San Antonio, TX). The Golden Bears record now stands at 14-6.
