In Friday's league game, the host Steele Knights baseball team scored a tight 12-6 victory over the Judson Rockets.
The Knights (20-5) will now prepare for their game against Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX). The Rangers go into the 6A Region IV District 27 game with a 21-3 record. In their last game, Smithson Valley tipped Victoria East (Victoria, TX), 11-0, in a non-league game.
The Rockets (4-15) will now prepare for their game against Wagner (San Antonio, TX). The Thunderbirds go into the 6A Region IV District 27 game with a 9-17 record. In their last game, Wagner tipped South San Antonio (San Antonio, TX), 9-3, in a league game.
