North Carolina High School Baseball - Union loses to Lakewood

In Friday's league game, the visiting Lakewood Leopards baseball team scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Union Spartans.
The Leopards (6-9) will now prepare for their game against Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC). The Cougars go into the Carolina 1A game with a 5-8 record. In their last game, Neuse Charter was overwhelmed by North Johnston (Kenly, NC), 3-0, in a non-league game.
The Spartans (0-13) will now prepare for their game against Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC). The Wildcats go into the Carolina 1A game with a 5-11 record. In their last game, Hobbton was overwhelmed by North Moore (Robbins, NC), 10-0, in a non-league game.
