Texas High School Baseball - Monterey loses to Cooper

The Cooper Pirates crushed the visiting Monterey Plainsmen baseball team by a count of 15-1 in Friday's league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 21-6 record. They take the field next when they host Coronado for a 5A Region I District 4 bout on Tuesday, April 26. Cooper will face a Mustangs team coming off a 5-2 league win over Cooper (Abilene, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-10.
Next up, the Plainsmen clash with the Lubbock Westerners (Lubbock, TX) in a 5A Region I District 4 game, on Tuesday, April 26. Monterey will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record.
