North Carolina High School Baseball - North Surry sneaks past Surry Central

The North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) baseball nipped the visiting Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC), 3-2 in Friday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Greyhounds play the North Wilkes Vikings (Hays, NC) in a Foothills 2A challenge, on Tuesday, April 26. North Surry will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 3-17 record after their 7-0 league loss to Forbush (East Bend, NC).

With the defeat, Surry Central falls to 11-9 on the season. The Golden eagles travel to East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC) to encounter the Cardinals in a Foothills 2A challenge on Tuesday, April 26.
