Summit Christian Academy Eagles (Lee's Summit, MO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting University Academy Charter Gryphons (Kansas City, MO), 14-4 in a league test.

With the win, Summit Christian Academy upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Lincoln College Prep (Kansas City, MO) to battle the Blue Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 26. The Blue Tigers come into the test with a record of 5-2. Lincoln College Prep lost 16-2 in their recent non-league game against Blue Valley West (Stilwell, KS)

The Gryphons (7-4) will now prepare for their game against Barstow (Kansas City, MO). The Knights go into the Class 3 District 14 game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Barstow was overwhelmed by St. Michael the Archangel (Lee's Summit, MO), 7-0, in a non-league game.
