Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA), 20-4 in a league test.

The Warriors now have a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Patrick Henry for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 27.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) in a Jefferson test, on Tuesday, April 26. Monticello will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Black Knights come into the test with a 1-4 record after their 11-3 league loss to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA).
