The Apex Cougars held off the host Apex Friendship Patriots soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Friday's league match.
The Cougars now sport a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Holly Springs for a Southwest Wake 4A match on Monday, April 25. Apex will encounter a Golden Hawks squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 12-3.
With the loss, Apex Friendship drops to 12-3 on the year. The Patriots travel to Middle Creek (Apex, NC) to confront the Mustangs in a Southwest Wake 4A challenge on Monday, April 25.
