The East Surry Cardinals baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the host West Wilkes Blackhawks to 5 in the Cardinals league victory on Friday.
The Cardinals (8-3) will now prepare for their match against Forbush (East Bend, NC). The Falcons go into the non-league match with a 12-5 record. In their last match, Forbush ran past North Wilkes (Hays, NC), 15-0, in a league match.
The Blackhawks (5-8) will now prepare for their match against North Iredell (Olin, NC). The Raiders go into the non-league match with a 7-6 record. In their last match, North Iredell South Iredell (Statesville, NC), 4-4, in a non-league match.
