The Minico Spartans crushed the host Jerome Tigers baseball team by a count of 9-3 in Friday's league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they host Twin Falls for a bout on Tuesday, April 26. Minico will face a Bruins team coming off a 14-12 non-league loss to Madison (Rexburg, ID). The Bruins record now stands at 12-3.
Next, the Tigers face the Wood River Wolverines (Hailey, ID) in a bout, on Monday, April 25. Jerome will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Wolverines enter the bout with a 8-5 record after their 19-6 league win over Canyon Ridge (Twin Falls, ID).
