The Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Taos Tigers to 9 in the Elks/Elkettes league victory on Friday.
The Elks/Elkettes (9-5) will now prepare for their match against Bosque (Albuquerque, NM). The Bobcats go into the match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Bosque was edged by Valley (Albuquerque, NM), 15-1, in a non-league match.
The Tigers (7-4) will now prepare for their match against Magdalena (Magdalena, NM). The Steers go into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Magdalena tipped Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM), 15-2, in a non-league match.
