In Friday's league test, the host Western Albemarle Warriors lacrosse squad scored a good 19-1 victory over the Monticello Mustangs.
The Warriors now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Patrick Henry for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 26. Western Albemarle will face a Patriots squad coming off a 23-5 non-league win over Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 7-2.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) in a Jefferson test, on Tuesday, April 26. Monticello will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Black Knights come into the test with a 0-3 record after their 9-4 league loss to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA).
