Riverside-Durham Pirates (Durham, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the host Northern Durham Knights (Durham, NC), 12-5 in a league test.

The Pirates now have a 1-12 record. They take the field next when they host Jordan for a DAC-VII/Northern Lakes Athletic test on Monday, April 25. Riverside-Durham will face a Falcons squad coming off a 11-4 non-league win over Carrboro (Carrboro, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 6-9.

In their next game, the Knights face the J.F. Webb Warriors (Oxford, NC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 26. Northern Durham will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 5-2 record after their 13-6 league loss to Vance Charter (Henderson, NC).
