California High School Softball - Garey bounces Bassett

The Garey Vikings (Pomona, CA) softball routed the host Bassett Olympians (La Puente, CA), 13-2 in Friday's league bout.

The Vikings (12-6) will now prepare for their bout against Ganesha (Pomona, CA). The Giants go into the Miramonte bout with a 7-9 record. In their last bout, Ganesha toppled Pomona (Pomona, CA), 17-9, in a league bout.

The Olympians now possess a 1-11 record. They play next when they travel to Edgewood for a Miramonte bout on Monday, April 25. Bassett will confront a Lions squad coming off a 17-4 league win over Pomona (Pomona, CA). The Lions record now stands at 14-4.
