Central Eagles (Pageland, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting North Central Knights (Kershaw, SC), 9-7 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chesterfield for a AA Region 4 challenge on Monday, April 25.

With the loss, North Central falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Buford (Lancaster, SC) to face the Yellowjackets in a AA Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, April 26. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a record of 13-4. Buford won 8-5 in their recent league challenge against Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC)
