Del Oro Golden Eagles (Loomis, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Granite Bay Grizzlies (Granite Bay, CA), 8-0 in a league challenge.

The Golden Eagles now own a 18-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whitney for a Sierra Foothill League challenge on Wednesday, April 27. Del Oro will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Rocklin (Rocklin, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-10.

With the loss, Granite Bay falls to 10-6 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to West Park (Roseville, CA) to battle the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 25. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 1-9. West Park lost 9-1 in their recent league challenge against Lincoln (Lincoln, CA)
