The Hardin Hornets softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Trinity Tigers to 1 in the Hornets league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Hardin improves its record to 9-4 on the year. The Hornets travel to Coldspring-Oakhurst (Coldspring, TX) to clash with the Trojans in a 3A Region III District 23 game on Monday, April 25. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 14-12. Coldspring-Oakhurst won 15-5 in their recent league game against Anderson-Shiro (Anderson, TX)
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Lubbock Christian Eagles (Lubbock, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 23. Trinity will attempt to improve on its 4-26 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 1-4 record after their 11-7 non-league loss to Greenwood (Midland, TX).
