Mapleton Mounties (Ashland, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting St. Paul Flyers (Norwalk, OH), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Mounties now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host New London for a Firelands challenge on Monday, April 25.

With the loss, St. Paul falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Flyers host Western Reserve (Collins, OH) to battle the Roughriders in a Firelands challenge on Saturday, April 23. The Roughriders enter the challenge with a record of 3-7. Western Reserve lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against South Central (Greenwich, OH)
