With the triumph, Waverly moves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Tigers host Eastern (Beaver, OH) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, April 29. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 0-3.

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Oak Hill Oaks (Oak Hill, OH) in a Southern Ohio II game, on Saturday, April 23. Minford will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Oaks come into the game with a 0-2 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Wellston (Wellston, OH).
