In Friday's non-league contest, the Wahconah Regional Warriors (Dalton, MA) softball team overwhelmed the host Mount Anthony Patriots (Bennington, VT), by a margin of 20-2.
With the triumph, Wahconah Regional moves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Warriors travel to Mount Greylock Regional (Williamstown, MA) to play the Mounties in a Berkshire County contest on Tuesday, April 26. The Mounties enter the challenge with a record of 2-2.
With the loss, Mount Anthony falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Pittsfield (Pittsfield, MA) to battle the Generals in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 4. The Generals enter the challenge with a record of 3-4.
