Ohio High School Softball - Northridge bounces Utica

Northridge Vikings (Johnstown, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Utica Redskins (Utica, OH), 13-7 in a league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Heath for a Licking County challenge on Monday, April 25. Northridge will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Teays Valley (Ashville, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Utica falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Redskins host Newark Catholic (Newark, OH) to battle the Green Wave in a Licking County challenge on Monday, April 25. The Green Wave enter the challenge with a record of 1-5.
