Oak Glen Golden Bears (New Cumberland, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Steubenville Big Red (Steubenville, OH), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Golden Bears now own a 17-2 record. They take the field next when they host Wheeling Park for a Two Rivers challenge on Saturday, April 23. Oak Glen will face a Patriots squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Parkersburg South (Parkersburg, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 10-14.

With the loss, Steubenville falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Big red travel to Poland Seminary (Poland, OH) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 23. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 7-5. Poland Seminary won 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Jefferson Area (Jefferson, OH)
