Arizona High School Softball - Valley Vista bounces Westview

Valley Vista Monsoon (Surprise, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Westview Knights (Avondale, AZ), 19-4 in a league challenge.

The Monsoon now own a 7-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Copper Canyon for a 6A Southwest challenge on Monday, April 25. Valley Vista will battle a Aztecs squad coming off a 19-1 league loss to Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ). The Aztecs record now stands at 5-15.

With the loss, Westview falls to 0-18 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Tolleson (Tolleson, AZ) to battle the Wolverines in a 6A Southwest challenge on Monday, April 25. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a record of 17-6. Tolleson won 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ)
