The Lakeshore Lancers nudged the visiting Byron Center Bulldogs baseball team by a tally of 3-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Lancers now hold a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Portage Northern for a Southwestern Michigan - West bout on Wednesday, April 26. Lakeshore will face a Huskies team coming off a 4-3 league win over St. Joseph (St. Joseph, MI). The Huskies record now stands at 4-0.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Greenville Yellow Jackets (Greenville, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 24. Byron Center will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the bout with a 2-8 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Central Montcalm (Stanton, MI).
