The Sylva Bay Academy Saints (Bay Springs, MS) baseball trounced the visiting Deer Creek Warriors (Arcola, MS), 12-2 in Saturday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Saints encounter the DeSoto Thunderbirds (West Helena, AR) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 25. Sylva Bay Academy will attempt to better on its 13-13 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 15-4 league win over North Sunflower Academy (Drew, MS).

The Warriors now sport a 1-4 record.
