The Western Panthers baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Hanover-Horton Comets to 5 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Panthers (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Pennfield (Battle Creek, MI). The Panthers go into the Interstate 8 match with a 1-3 record.
The Comets (5-9) will now prepare for their match against Addison (Addison, MI). The Panthers go into the Cascades match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Addison edged Manchester (Manchester, MI), 5-4, in a league match.
