California High School Baseball - Santa Ynez loses to Lompoc

The Santa Ynez Pirates baseball team (Santa Ynez, CA), was overwhelmed 18-3 in Saturday's league outing with the host Lompoc Braves (Lompoc, CA)

The Braves now hold a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Luis Obispo for a CCAA - Mountain outing on Wednesday, April 26. Lompoc will confront a Tigers team coming off a 9-5 league win over Paso Robles (Paso Robles, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 11-9.

Next, the Pirates confront the Templeton Eagles (Templeton, CA) in a CCAA - Mountain outing, on Tuesday, April 25. Santa Ynez will attempt to advance on its 6-14 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 5-16 record after their 5-2 league loss to St. Joseph (Santa Maria, CA).
