California High School Baseball - Mayfair holds off Valley View

April 22, 2023: Moreno Valley, CA 92555

Mayfair Monsoons (Lakewood, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Valley View Eagles (Moreno Valley, CA), 7-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Mayfair upgrades its record to 18-8 on the season. The Monsoons travel to Maranatha (Pasadena, CA) to battle the Minutemen in a non-league test on Monday, April 24. The Minutemen come into the test with a record of 19-4. Maranatha won 9-7 in their recent non-league test against Charter Oak (Covina, CA)

With the defeat, Valley View falls to 10-11 on the season. The Eagles travel to Paraclete (Lancaster, CA) to battle the Spirits in a non-league test on Monday, April 24. The Spirits come into the test with a record of 9-13. Paraclete won 6-4 in their recent league test against St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA)
