In Saturday's league game, the host St. John Paul II Lions baseball team scored a tight 9-5 victory over the Monomoy Sharks.
The Lions (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Monomoy (Harwich, MA). The Sharks go into the Cape & Islands game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Monomoy was overwhelmed by Norwell (Norwell, MA), 9-4, in a non-league game.
The Sharks (3-5) will now prepare for their game against St. John Paul II (Hyannis, MA). The Lions go into the Cape & Islands game with a 2-4 record.
