The Griswold Wolverines lacrosse team scored 24 points and held the host New London Whalers to 7 in the Wolverines league win on Saturday.
The Wolverines (3-4) will now prepare for their match against St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT). The Saints go into the Eastern Connecticut - II match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, St. Bernard was overwhelmed by Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT), 6-5, in a non-league match.
The Whalers (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Ledyard (Ledyard, CT). The Colonels go into the Eastern Connecticut - II match with a 6-1 record. In their last match, Ledyard prevailed over Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT), 12-9, in a non-league match.
