The Rifle Bears baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Battle Mountain Huskies to 7 in the Bears non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bears (4-7) will now prepare for their match against Basalt (Basalt, CO). The Longhorns go into the non-league match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Basalt edged Gunnison (Gunnison, CO), 9-1, in a non-league match.
The Huskies (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO). The Rams go into the non-league match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Roaring Fork was overwhelmed by Glenwood Springs (Glenwood Springs, CO), 12-3, in a non-league match.
