Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT), 15-2 in a league challenge.

The Centaurs now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Killingly for a Eastern Connecticut - Medium challenge on Monday, April 24. Woodstock Academy will battle a Redmen squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Ledyard (Ledyard, CT). The Redmen record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Bacon Academy falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to New London (New London, CT) to battle the Whalers in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 24. The Whalers enter the challenge with a record of 2-4. New London lost 17-0 in their recent league challenge against Ledyard (Ledyard, CT)
