With the triumph, Belleville East moves its record to 15-5 on the year. The Lancers host Alton (Alton, IL) to play the Redbirds in a Southwestern contest on Tuesday, April 25. The Redbirds come into the contest with a record of 6-9. Alton won 22-0 in their recent non-league contest against Cahokia (Cahokia, IL)

In their next game, the Panthers play the Waterloo Bulldogs (Waterloo, IL) in a Mississippi Valley contest, on Monday, April 24. Jersey will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 8-4 record after their 6-2 non-league loss to Columbia (Columbia, IL).
