West Virginia High School Softball - Frankfort bounces Berkeley Springs

Frankfort Falcons (Ridgeley, WV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Berkeley Springs Indians (Berkeley Springs, WV), 8-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Falcons now sport a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Hampshire for a Western Maryland challenge on Wednesday, April 26. Frankfort will face a Trojans squad coming off a 27-0 non-league win over Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV). The Trojans record now stands at 4-11.

With the loss, Berkeley Springs falls to 12-13 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Handley (Winchester, VA) to face the Judges in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 24. The Judges enter the challenge with a record of 0-12. Handley lost 20-0 in their recent league challenge against Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA)
