Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado (Paducah, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY), 11-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Blue Tornado now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Christian County for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 22. Paducah Tilghman will battle a Colonels squad coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Russellville (Russellville, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 10-7.

With the loss, Christian County falls to 10-8 on the campaign. The Colonels host Apollo (Owensboro, KY) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 22. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 6-8. Apollo lost 11-3 in their recent league challenge against Daviess County (Owensboro, KY)
