New Mexico High School Softball - Cobre bounces Hot Springs

The Cobre Indians routed the visiting Hot Springs Tigers softball squad by a count of 17-0 in Saturday's league battle.

The Indians (18-6) will now prepare for their battle against Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM). The Tigers go into the 3A District 3 battle with a 5-16 record. In their last battle, Hot Springs topped Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM), 27-5, in a league battle.

The Tigers now sport a 5-18 record. They play next when they travel to Cobre for a 3A District 3 battle on Saturday, April 22. Hot Springs will meet a Indians squad coming off a 23-0 league win over Socorro (Socorro, NM). The Indians record now stands at 16-6.
