Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers (Las Cruces, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Mescalero Apache Chiefs (Mescalero, NM), 12-0 in a league challenge.

The SonBlazers now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Capitan for a A/2A District 3 challenge on Monday, April 24. Mesilla Valley Christian School will face a Tigers squad coming off a 15-1 league win over Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, Mescalero Apache falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Capitan (Capitan, NM) to face the Tigers in a A/2A District 3 challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 13-3. Capitan won 14-3 in their recent league challenge against Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM)
