The North Yarmouth Academy Panthers softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Mount View Mustangs to 8 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, North Yarmouth Academy moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Panthers host Maranacook (Readfield, ME) to clash with the Black Bears in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 25. The Black Bears come into the game with a record of 1-0. Maranacook won 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME)

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the St. Dominic Saints (Lewiston, ME) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 26. Mount View will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Saints come into the game with a 1-1 record after their 14-11 non-league loss to Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME).
